From the demonology of the Philippines comes the demon Akop. Working in conjunction with the demon Ibwa, it preys upon widows and widowers. Akop is described as having a large head and long slim arms and legs, but no torso. Akop attends funerals and attacks unguarded corpses, collecting the body fat that seeps out of a corpse preburial to collect and consume.
