Assaibi is a demon who serves beneath the infernal king Maymon, associated with both the planet Saturn and the direction north. Assaibi appears in Peterson's translation of the Sworn Book of Honorius. As a Saturnine spirit, Assaibi reputedly can inspire the emotions of sadness, anger, and hatred. Assaibi answers to the angels Bohel, Cafziel, Michrathon, and Satquiel. There is a strong likelihood that this demon and the demon Assalbi are one in the same--but for a scribal error somewhere along the way.
