From Persian demonology comes a class of jinn called Austatikco-Pauligaur. They watch over the eight sides of the world. There are eight Austantikco-Pauligaur: Augne-Baugauven, Eemen, Essaunien (or Shivven), Gooberen, Indiren, Nerudee, Vaivoo, and Varoonon.
