Demonology

Originally an Aramaean deity worshipped at Damascus, a Syrian god of healing, and a Babylonian storm god during the medieval demonology craze, Rimmon (“exalted” or “roarer”) was demonized and made into the infernal ambassador in Russia, prince of lightning and storms, and the only doctor in Hell. He is said to be under the command of Samael and Rahab. Rimmon is a Fallen Angel, formerly of the Order of Archangels. His sign is the pomegranate.[1]
